Both parents should influence the choice of schoolwear

by: Garry Pierrepont (1 March 2017)

OK, they are only supplying schoolwear, and not giving our kids an education, but you'd think they'd check where to put the apostrophe on the side of their van!

schoolwear error

Surely they mean it to be the first choice of parents, rather just a parent. If they had meant one parent they should have put A parent's first choice... In this case the apostrophe should be at the end: Parents'.

Something tells me that we will never learn.

Ref: 243 It's funny you should mention apostrophes today - they are the subject of my (sort of) haiku for Grammar Day tomorrow. Oh, the anticipation!
